Who We Are

The Red Hook Community Preservation Alliance includes residents of Red Hook: community leaders, business people, environmentalists, realtors, builders, and other citizens, who are concerned with the future of our town.

The features that make Red Hook a desirable place to live—pristine landscapes, woods and streams, and the feeling of a small community—are in danger of being lost. We must act now if we are to assure that Red Hook will remain the special place it is today.

The members of the Community Preservation Alliance are committed to four goals:

•     • Preserving our rural character
•     • Conserving our natural resources
•     • Preserving our infrastructure
•     • Preserving our agricultural economy

If these goals are important to you, we hope you will join us.

Volunteers are needed for the following positions/tasks:

We will need people to assist with handing out and mailing literature,
making phone calls and other efforts. Please call (845) 758-0504 or email volunteer@preserveredhook.org.

Contributions are needed to fund mailings, signs, etc!

Getting the information out to the community requires time, energy and resources. Won’t you consider a donation to protect our drinking water, our working farms and incredible natural resources?
